September 9 - Sheriff's Land Sales 
September 14 - Happy Birthday, Grandma Moses: A Celebration of Seniors in the Arts. The Geauga Council for Arts and Culture, the Geauga County Department on Aging and the Geauga Lyric Guild invite seniors to join in celebrating the 150th birthday of Grandma Moses. Come join us and enjoy the fun! 10:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. The Bond Building in Burton. Coffee, pastries and lunch, performance by the Renaissance Singers, a presentation on the art and life of Grandma Moses, an art show, door prizes, and a raffle for an original Moses print. September 24 - Seniors Summer Dance. 7:00 - 10:00 p.m. Multi-Purpose Senior Center, 12555 Ravenwood Drive, Chardon. The Bob Lubeck Band. Hosts: Elle Palek - Shirley Kall. Refreshments and door prizes, all for the same price, $6.00. 
September 26 - Seniors Dinner and Theater. Cost $50.00 Motor coach will depart for Madion from the MPSC, 12555 Ravenwood Drive, Chardon at 4:00 p.m. Dinner at Grand River Cellars Winery. After dinner, we will travel to Rabbit Run Theater for "My Way", a musical tribute ot Frank Sinatra. This musical revue will feature no less than 57 of the melodies made famous by old blue eyes himself. Bus returns to the MPSC by 11:00 p.m. Prepade reservatiosn must be received by September 5 through the Department on Aging.

October 2 & 3 - Huntsburg Pumpkin Festival. Our 41st year! All games, entertainment and attractions are free. Huntsburg, Ohio at the intersections of State Routes 322 and 528. Free parking and shuttle service from the parking areas to the festival grounds. (440) 636-5197.

October 8 - Seniors Parade of Homes. 9:00 a.m. Your "care is in the bag" in Geauga County! On this informative tour, we will be exploring all senior living options available to you through the county. Agter the tour you will be able to understand the differences between living in your own home with services available through the Department on Aging and/or Home Healthcare, and Independent Living. Assisted Linging and long-term care. You will also learn about short-term rehabilitation services available in some of these homes. For added pleasurer, this tour also includes a progressive lunch! October 27 - Seniors Halloween Polka Fest. 10:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Family Life Center in Bainbridge, 16349 Chillicothe Road. Polka Fest is back with a twist! We are combining it with our annual Halloween party! So dress up in your favorite costume to enter out contest! Enjoy food, music, daning and Halloween fun! Polka music for dancing and listening by Geauga's Bob Kravos Band 10:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Transit is available, but additional costs may be incurred.
