Improved industrial sites are available. The Geauga County Planning Commission has its own Industrial Parks website with many features, including transportation maps, location maps, links to state resources, and more.
The 2008 Industrial Directory has been completed. The directory is a comprehensive resource which includes more than 150 industrial listings including: pallet manufacturing, polymer concrete, CNC machining, wastewater treatment chemicals, industrial silica sand, and more! The directory was compiled in 2008 through a direct mailing to more than 350 industries. The survey inquired about the number of employees, annual sales, year founded, product descriptions, square footage, etc.
The Geauga County Auditor's Office has an on-line GIS property locator (Geauga REALink) with many features, including advanced search options by municipality, tax district, address, property class, condition, size, and more.
